Mini Met Gala

Welcome to Harness Creation’s inaugural Mini Met Gala. Have you ever wanted to go to the MET Gala in New York? So have I!

The MET Gala is an extremely exclusive fashion event held every year in New York. Celebrities around the world hope they’ll receive an invite! This year, it will be held on September 13th. Of course, the minimum $30,000 USD donation that comes along with a ticket is pretty crazy.

While our dreams of attending may never be realised, we can do the next best thing – come to the Mini Met Gala!

Walk down the red carpet in your fanciest dress or suit, and get your photo taken by a professional photographer. Then, walk through the studios and sets at Harness Creation. Take photos in the sets, peruse artwork from local artists, and watch ‘The First Monday in May’, a documentary on the MET Gala.

All the while, indulge in a drink and some canapés!

A luxury coach will then transport you from Harness Creation, Paddington over to Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers, South Bank.

There, you’ll be given a three course meal, complete with drinks. There will be a seating plan, and a card so you can get to know the person sitting next to you. And then your night will be complete!

While the MET Gala in New York is a black tie event, we won’t be so stringent here. But this is your chance to dress as formal and luxurious as you’d like! The theme is ‘In America: A Lexicon in Fashion’ (the theme of this year’s MET Gala in New York) and you’re welcome to adhere to that theme as closely or as tangentially as you’d like.
